My Calling & Approach
Many of us reach a point where our circumstances no longer reflect who we truly are or the life we
want to create. We do our best to handle things on our own, but sometimes a caring and professional
hand can help us move forward.
Hello, my name is Adewale (pronounced Ah-day-WAH-lay), though most people call me Wale. My
passion lies in walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges,
heal from emotional pain, and discover new paths toward growth and wholeness. I also enjoy helping
clients clarify their goals and providing the encouragement and accountability to take meaningful
action toward them.
Being of Black American and Nigerian heritage, I deeply value diversity and the many ways culture,
faith, and life experiences shape who we are. These influences guide my work and inspire me to
create a safe, judgment-free space where people from all walks of life feel seen, respected, and
understood.
Before becoming a counselor, I proudly served in the U.S. Navy, an experience that strengthened my
sense of service, resilience, and compassion. I am also a Certified Professional Life Coach, Certified
Christian Life Coach, and an Ordained Elder. These experiences, combined with my clinical mental
health training, allow me to integrate faith and spirituality into the counseling process when clients
desire—always honoring their unique beliefs and values.

In therapy, I strive to offer more than strategies or insight. My goal is to build a genuine, trusting
relationship where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. I understand what it’s
like to have a vision for your life but struggle to bridge the gap between where you are and where you
want to be. Together, we can work toward closing that gap—one practical step at a time.

Beyond the Therapy Room
My wife and I are blessed with two energetic children who keep us on our toes and remind us daily to
find joy in life’s simple moments. We love spending time outdoors, exploring local parks, and dancing
to our favorite songs together.
Outside of family life, I’m an avid learner who enjoys reading non-fiction books on spirituality,
personal growth, psychology, and finance. This curiosity fuels my own development and enriches the
insight I bring into my counseling work.
I also enjoy action-adventure movies, lighthearted comedies, and the festive warmth of the holiday
season, when our family gathers for laughter, music, and meaningful connection.
